Car enthusiasts are welcoming 2017 with open arms, already preempting which vehicles will steal hearts and fly off the lots.

In anticipation of this year's expected successes, the folks at Autoblog.com recently released their list of 'Cars We're Most Looking Forward to in 2017,' laying out their predictions on the table. Among the variety of cars handpicked for the list were the 2018 Ford GT and the Ford Bronco, both of which offer promise for the new year.

"We're hoping to see some new generations of enthusiast favorites," Autoblog's writer states in the article, a phrase applicable to the 2018 Ford GT. With a predicted MSRP of $400,000, the 2018 GT won't just impress - it's destined to dazzle. And, according to experts on 2017fords.com, the new GT's features seamlessly blend aesthetics with efficiency; a longer and lower design ensures improved aerodynamics, while a rounded, sloped windshield reduces overall drag and carbon fiber taillamps cut down on the car's weight.Watch the Blue Oval's introduction of the GT in the video below:

Picking up where exclamations of excitement left off a few months ago, the newest Ford Bronco also took its rightful place on the list. As stated on Autoblog's aforementioned article, "There's nothing quite like it on the road today, as more and more SUVs shift to practical, car-based platforms."

Since details have yet to be released on the new Bronco, auto enthusiasts are eagerly placing their bets on what it'll feature; a writer on FordNewModels.com predicts that "Ford will definitely borrow or at least get some inspiration from the design of the original Bronco with the bulky frame and the two big round headlights," while Carsoid.com expects "a new design, new engines and likely a new interior as well" and that the Blue Oval will "borrow some design elements from the original model and to keep it firmly close to its roots and 2004 concept."
